Description:
Designed in accordance with the Nauck Village Center Action Plan, this project represents the first major component of the revitalization effort in the Nauck community. Working closely with the client, AHC, we realized our goal of bringing much needed affordable housing to the area with a high level of design. The U-shaped building closely follows the site’s boundaries, defining an urban street edge and creating a large and inviting interior courtyard. Ground floor retail enlivens the street at the southeast corner of the site and the 108 space underground parking garage maximizes above ground open space.
